Can I Mail my Rent?

Today let's talk about payment methods. We have a lot of tenants who prefer to mail their checks or money orders in. As convenient as it sounds, it can cause lots of issues. Using this month as an example, we haven't received mail in about a month. It is now the 4th and unpaid rent collects late fees. If someone mailed the check and we haven't gotten mail, they collect late fees. This is why we tell all our tenants to either put it in our drop box, bring it in the office, or pay online. The mail is very unreliable and it's important to utilize the most reliable way of payment.
