Importance of Not Smoking In or Near your Unit

Why can't I smoke in or near my unit?

  1. IT IS ILLEGAL. It's illegal to smoke within 20 feet of any public buildings door/window.
  2. It causes SERIOUS damage to the unit.
  3. It's inconsiderate of other tenants in the building.
  4. Some people are allergic to smoke.
  5. It is a fire hazard
  6. It is grounds for eviction
  7. Everyone has a right to live smoke free
