Have you ever wondered if a property management company is a good fit, check out the reviews, come to find out it's littered with dramatically different reviews?  Before immediately thinking poorly, take into consideration some of these issues! A big one is what the content of the review is! When looking at the reviews if it's about something not working or being fixed that is valid! If it's about not getting a security deposit back, there was obviously a reason they didn't. When you are to review a property management company, you review it the same way as you would a restaurant, based off the service you receive. With property management, it's a 2 way street. As a management company we have to have a contract with 2 parties, the tenants and the owners. Most often, when a bad review comes in, it's from a tenant who is just being held accountable to the contract they signed. That's why it is so important to read your lease before signing. It isn't just signing it for no reason. It is a contract you are obligated to follow and when not followed, you'll be held accountable. This is a couple of the big issue with the  Google Review System for property management.
